For parenteral packaging, TOPAS^® COC offers very low extractables, excellent moisture barrier, and water-like clarity. The purity of TOPAS resin can outperform glass.

In stability tests of small molecules like pharmaceutical proteins, TOPAS minimizes interactions resulting in trace metals, free alkali oxides, or protein adsorption.

TOPAS resin meets the demanding requirements for liquid drugs in prefilled syringes and dry powder inhaler cartridges. It can be aseptically filled or terminally sterilized. As a polymer, TOPAS COC allows design integration not practical with glass.
