Shrink Sleeves & Labels with High Shrink and Low Density
TOPAS® COC powers improved shrink sleeves and labels for today's contoured containers. This high-growth market is becoming aware of the importance of using easily separated labels to avoid contaminating the PET bottle recycling stream. TOPAS resin is combined with PE or PP by leading film manufacturers to deliver a film with low (under 1 g/cc) density that separates in commercial recycling processes. Like competing materials such as PVC, PETG, and OPS, sleeves and labels conaining TOPAS COC are stiff, glossy, and have very high shrinkage. TOPAS films can outperform the competition by delivering lower shrink force than other materials. Features of TOPAS-powered shrink sleeves and labels include:
TOPAS also powers high performance shrink films.
